Namaste. I am Astrologer Ashish Desai, and for over 20 years, Vedic astrology has been my life's calling. What began as a deep fascination with the study of grahas and their movements in the boxed horoscope evolved into a lifelong journey of study, research, and service to thousands of individuals across the globe.

I am the founder of Jyotish Research, a platform I established over 13 years ago to share authentic, research-based astrological knowledge. Through this website, I have reached visitors from over 130 countries and served clients in 50+ nations, offering guidance on life's most important decisions.

Education & Expertise

My journey in occult sciences began with palmistry before I delved deeper into astrology. This foundation gave me a broader understanding of predictive sciences. I have studied Vastu Shastra under the guidance of Late Shri. Dhundiraj Pathak of Pune, who was the direct disciple of Late Shri. Maggirwar, the renowned scholar who popularized classical Vastu by bringing forth many hidden classical texts on Vastu Shastra.

I also have working knowledge of graphology, numerology, and Sharir Lakshan Shastra. However, I feel most driven by Jyotish Vidya - the science of light. I have immersed myself in the study of Jyotisha, spent countless hours analyzing kundalis, and continuously refined my understanding through practical application.

I did not pursue certificates and medals, as this was a passion that did not need outer validation. I believe in letting my work and client satisfaction speak for themselves.

A Legacy of Spiritual Wisdom

My maternal family had the tradition of studying astrology. My mother was a passionate astrologer who became my first Jyotish Guru, and through her, I received this divine inheritance of Jyotisha. I believe that astrology is an inherited gift that flows through the lineage, carried in the very essence of one's being.

I have not studied astrology through any institute, taking degrees and medals. It has been more in my blood, brought down through generations. Though I do not claim myself to be a great astrologer, I am grateful that the divine has been kind to me by blessing me with the gift of Jyotish Vidya.
